YOUR VOICE MATTERS

01

Please call your Representative to Oppose SB2151, Relating to Emergency Management (because the definition of disaster is too braod).

02

Please submit testimony to OPPOSE HB2581, Relating to Emergency Management. The words, "imminent threat," and "likely to cause," is based on projections rather than actual events. "Disease or contagion outbreaks" needs to be removed or narrowed, so that the Governor does not continue ongoing emergency powers indefinitely for ongoing or forecasted conditions. Also, "catastrophic harm," is undefined and qualitative. We also need exit limits once an emergency proclamation is declared, so they don't go on indefinitely. Prohibit the Governor from suspending statutes and add hard sunset and legislative approval.
